The New Year Has Arrived!! And this is the time to blog on what we've done during that "prelude to 2009"

As usual... we went for dinner, but it was at an unexpected venue because while we were cracking our nuts trying to figure out where we should be dining, All of a sudden... we were invited to go over to a company dinner by a friend.

Feeling relluctant at first, we were finally convinced to go over to join them... and it was at this place called...


BLACK APPLE Cafe..
Pretty catchy name for a dining outlet, but.. BLACK APPLE??


Kinda reminds me of the kind of apples you find in my Uni days.. (those left in the refrigerator for at least 2 months...) We categorised them as the "UNTOUCHABLES" .. Probably due to the Degree of Rotting those damn apples went thru...
But anyway, Food there was catered and was totally booked by the company... (explaning why there were only a handful of people there.. all closely related and all were known individuals.

Food was ok, and i had a citrus drink with Real Orange Sacs in it! Forgot to grab a pic of the floating sacs, but it tasted great for a start to the new year's eve celebration... you know why?... cos....

it was mixed with Beer! ( Tiger to be exact)
It turned into a kind of Shandy flavoured drink which suited my taste cos i can't really take beer and liquor related beverages.


Had a chat with a couple of friends before we finished dinner and headed off to our DESIGNATED VENUE....



As we reached our destination... we were greeted with a common Headache...

Traffic Jam!!!!!... Yes... even in Miri... Traffic can get darn irritating especially at areas where we're headed to..

Stuck for a darn while nearby because some bastards are hogging and waiting hopelessly for a vacant parking lot! Why must they pray to get one which is close by and not park elsewhere to ease the Jam... Bloodddyyyy pissed us off leh... EH? .. wait a min... oops.. forgot that i'm also one of those kind.. LOL! i take back that paragraph.. Please disregard current paragraph. =P


Finally.. after about half an hour.. we got a space and quickly rushed over to this place...

YEP! it's the newly renovated AL FRESCO cafe! Home for the next few hours.. (hehehe).

It was PACKED!!!!!!!!!


Lucky for us, another good buddy of ours had a table reserved beforhand and this really allowed us to be in the middle of the event. Thank you Vic!











Events rolling... Drinks are served ... and we enjoying our "talk cock" and busy greeting people we know.. (FYI, this venue happens to be a focal point for party-goers that night. Huge turnouts... and we all got to meet and catch up with frens!) Good Time Rolls... Before we know it... It was Countdown! 5,4,3,2,1..

we went to A1 for KOLOMEE!!! (hungry wat,... jumping and walking around for one whole night!


And itwas 3am when we reached home..
